Starting a quiet revolution

Posted by Di Gilpin on

I am thrilled yet terrified to be giving my lecture tomorrow at 'In the Loop' 2015 at Glasgow university...its not often that get the chance to put notes down and collate photographs going back years of projects and collaborations...but that is exactly what I have been doing for what seems like weeks! So much to say and in so little time! I do hope some of you will be there tomorrow ...keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that it all goes to plan!

Looking back I found a photograph from my Shorelines book which I created for Rowan Yarns about 10 years ago now....here is the Delaunay Jacket in homage to Sonia Delaunay whose work I have always loved since the moment I first saw it in the Tokyo museum in Paris 1979.....time this year to rewrite the pattern and make it in our beautiful Lalland Lambswool.....Abstraction...form...colour....
