Education is at the heart of what we do.  Essentially, sharing and learning is crucial for progress and sustainability while continuing to develop the long history of knitting, inspiring generation after generation.

 

OPEN STUDIO DATES for 2024

Our first Open Studio for 2024 is on 17th February. Pop along with your knitting anytime between 10am and 2pm.
All the new samples will be in the studio along with the full range of patterns. Look forward to seeing you here.

  We are planning to hold an Open Studio on the 2nd Saturday each month, 9th March, 13th April etc....

WORKSHOP

FABULOUS AUTUMN RETREAT AT BALCARRES ESTATE

At the end of September Sheila and Di will be hosting the most wonderful retreat on the fabulous Balcarres Estate in FIFE, SCOTLAND. For those interested please message Di.

Details of any other courses being offered, and details of how to book them
will be published here when they are available.

Di and Sheila also present some workshops at the events that they attend during the year. However, there is always room to accommodate a group of students at the Studio should there be sufficient demand. Groups should be a minimum of 4 students paying £150 each for a full day course.

Should you have a group of students looking for some special tuition with Di and Sheila, then please do not hesitate to contact us regarding a bespoke training session for your group.

All training sessions, are held at the Studio at Comielaw, and a Scottish lunch of local specialities is included in the price of each full-day special training session.  

 

We can offer groups a wide range of skills based classes, including colourwork, lace, gansey, as well as how to create your own design. Please contact us if you wish to arrange a group visit to the studio for a class - tea and cake are always included!
