March Hares and Witch Hazel!
Posted by Di Gilpin on
March is here and on our first long walk of the month Cuillin and I came upon our first mad march hare in a sea of snowbells on the beautiful Balcarres estate close to the studio.....it was too fast to catch on camera, but the witch hazel was out in bloom and falling in love with the colour I thought I should share it with you! What a colour!
In the studio we are working like mad on pattern writing and preparing for EdinYarnFest in 2 weeks time.......if you are planning on going do try and join us on thursday evening for a meet up...more details later! We will be posting lots of photos from the event and afterwards...and I am so looking forward to seeing those of you who can be there!
Some patterns are already finished...the Brooklyn Jacket and the Argyll Tunic are now online...Oak will be finished early next week and our new oversized tunic too.......(for those who know me this one is very much my sort of a thing...something I will wear All the time!!!) Just thinking of a name for it....the hardest part...so if anyone has an idea please send it our way.
Knit club should be busy this week and I am working on a new version of my coco jacket (from Shorelines) in the wonderful Spring green...look out for the remodelled version in Edinburgh!
