Polar Gansey : Pattern
Polar is a classically constructed gansey worked seamlessly with gussets underarm and at the neck. It is beautifully patterned with twisted cables, representing the rigging of the ship, the diamonds crossed with the compass and the main compass design in the body of the garment, all of which can be worked either in colour (intarsia) or in stitch work. The design and the special construction techniques give this piece a beautiful fit. It is worked in our own Lalland Lambswool.
