Workshop : An In-depth Exploration of how tension changes when swatching for stocking stitch, texture or colourin.

Saturday 11th April - 10.30am to 1:30pm.

In this 3 hour class we will explore the impact of texture and colour to your tension. Textured stitches in knit can have a huge affect on tension. We will look at how cabling, moss and other textured stitches and knitted fabric can change your tension and how to adapt to this. Colourwork likewise has quite an impact on tension and we will look at the contrast to stocking stitch and how to decide on the right gauge.

 

 If you attend this Workshop, please bring:

  • Pairs of 3.25mm, 3.75mm and 4.00mm needles.

 

We will supply all wool for the projects.

There will be a 30 minute break for Coffee and Cake.
