Arabesque Mittens : Wear

These 100% Lambswool mittens are inspired by the deeply carved paths and rivulets that travel, branching out down through the side of hills.  An echo of the strength of water as it slowly sculpts its way through the landscape, finding its way towards the lowlands.  Arabesque is a form of decoration based on rhythmic linear patterns of scrolling and interlacing tendrils; a spirit which this design embodies beautifully. 

These finger-less mittens are created through a mix of abstract cabling patterns achievable only through hand knitting, with thick ribbing over the palms creating a fit which follows and respects the natural movements of the hand.
