Sonia and Sophie Mittens : Knit Kit

Colourwork mittens inspired by the abstract art of Sonia Delaunay and Sophie Taeuber-Arp. I rarely knit two socks the same and these mittens follow on in this tradition! Each mitten tells a different story, one inspired by Sonia and one by Sophie. When worn together they playfully match up and reveal a third design! Knitted flat in intarsia with a gusset at the thumb.

We have designed a beautiful Cowl to go with the mittens and you will receive a free copy of the pattern for this 2 weeks after your purchase! There is enough yarn to either make 2 sets of mittens or one set of mittens and the Cowl.

Included in the kit:

4 Balls Di Gilpin Lalland DK Lambswool (100% Lambswool Spun in Scotland)     -     50 gram ball. 175 metres/190 yards.
