Sonia and Sophie Mittens : Pattern
A wonderful hand knit pattern for intarsia mittens with an integrated thumb.
We have used our Lalland DK in the following colours but this is a great pattern to make up your own colours!
Colourwork mittens inspired by the abstract art of Sonia Delaunay and Sophie Taeuber-Arp. I rarely knit two socks the same and these mittens follow on in this tradition! Each mitten tells a different story, one inspired by Sonia and one by Sophie. When worn together they playfully match up and reveal a third design! Knitted flat in intarsia with a gusset at the thumb.
