LARA tank : Knit Kit
A modern classic with loads of texture, cables and rib... high neck, cross over front and reversible.
We so loved the Lyra Fair Isle vest - that we designed a simpler, chunkier version which would be quick and easy to knit! The perfect extra layer for Autumn/Winter! Knitted in our beautiful Lalland Aran, seamlessly and with some subtle shaping and the classic square neck in a contrast colour (your choice!), Lara is easy to wear for an added cosy layer in Autumn /Winter or to take away the chill in Spring / Summer.
The Lara can be knitted in 7 sizes using Di Gilpin's Lalland Aran Lambswool spun in Scotland. Lalland DK can be used held double. If you wish to have the contrast colour for the neckline, please add a separate ball of either Aran or DK to your cart. You can delve into your stash if required as the neck contrast only takes from 20 – 30gr across the sizes.
The pattern contains details for 7 different sizes of the slipover.

Materials
Di Gilpin Lalland Aran Lambswool (100% lambswool spun in Scotland, colour blended by Di and finished in Yorkshire). 100 gram balls. Meterage: 150m/164yds to 100gr.
Sizes 1 and 2: 3 x 100gr balls
Sizes 3 and 4: 4 x 100gr balls
Sizes 5 and 6: 5 x 100gr balls
Size 7: 6 x 100gr balls

1 pair 5mm (UK 6, US 8) straight needles plus long circular or dpns equivalent. Adjust needle size to achieve correct tension |
