COLLABORATIONS WE LOVE.....

Counting down now to next thursday when Sheila and I head off to Aberdeen for our flight to Fano in Denmark...there are 5 huge boxes in the studio ready for despatch today, filled with all the garments for our Fashion Show on the Friday evening and a large number of knitting kits for our favourite designs...thrilled that Christel Seyfarth will be stocking our Lalland Lambswool and patterns....our first store and in Denmark!!!! I have designed some new pieces for the show and these will be made into patterns ready for the Knitting and Stitching Show in London at the beginning...

March is here and on our first long walk of the month Cuillin and I came upon our first mad march hare in a sea of snowbells on the beautiful Balcarres estate close to the studio.....it was too fast to catch on camera, but the witch hazel was out in bloom and falling in love with the colour I thought I should share it with you! What a colour! In the studio we are working like mad on pattern writing and preparing for EdinYarnFest in 2 weeks time.......if you are planning on going do try and join us on thursday...

I Love this time of year....making jam, wine and jellies and knitting really comes into its own!  In the Loop was a tremendous event and it looks as if it will happen again in 2017 in Southhampton...I worried so much about my talk, got stuck on the motorway, left my notes in the studio....but everyone was so fab when I arrived all those anxieties fell away and once I started there was so much to say about the stitch that I ran overtime!!! Thanks to everyone in Glasgow for a brilliant time including the fashion show...great end to the day!Abstraction...
