Loch Ness Knit Fest

Posted by Di Gilpin on

We were so excited to be in the Highlands again this year at the much anticipated Loch Ness Knit Fest!

There was a wonderful fashion show on the Friday at 1pm and Di prepared lots of beautiful garments for the runway where they were shown along side the wonderful and intricate work of Christel Seyfarth from Denmark. We also had a stand with help from Sheila, Maureen and Brigit...whom many of you remembered from last year! All our favourite colours in the Lalland Lambswool range were featured, including the luscious Furze!

Di also taught 3 classes... which were be incredible fun, exploring some amazing techniques!

We now have a wonderful new stockist in Aberdeen! Wool For Ewe! Who will have their first delivery in 2 weeks time ...Di and Sheila are planning a trip up to Aberdeen in early November...so if you can't make it to Inverness...do pop along to this fab store to meet them!

Till Loch Ness......Happy Knitting and safe travels!

  • Di, thank you for your time and patience yesterday when you sorted out my jumper for me. It was incredibly kind of you to spend so much time on it! I followed your instructions and finished it about midnight.
I popped over to Kintfest today to show you the result but you were at a workshop. Anyway, it fits perfectly and is gorgeous.
    Enjoy the chocolates!
    Kind Regards, Janice
